DELCINA celebrates the “design of the bag.” DELCINA President Jean Ouyang created the webstore to showcase handbags that reflect her own personal passion and belief: handbags of luxury and style from independent designers. Catering to the 25 to 38 style-conscious and savvy consumers, she personally cherry-picks each handbag based on practicality, look, make and material.

“I think women are tired of being used as human billboards with big logos and bags that need a mortgage. The designing talents of today are confident of their personal values and can match the quality and style of the major brands.” Says DELCINA President Jean Ouyang. “We find that the indies don’t have the brand cushion so they must tap into their imagination to create new, fresh, different.”

The obsession began when Jean treated herself to a Salvatore Ferragamo patent leather purse at the age of 24. Back then, the gold hardware was dipped in gold 7 times; the standard lining was suede. A decade later, that same purse is still on the social scene with her. With deep research and frequent interviews, Jean compiles a database of touchpoints on each designer, feeding and educating the technical buyers.

At DELCINA, each handbag is a starlet. This has very little to do with Lindsay Lohan and Halle Berry being photographed in them. It has everything to do with showcasing the most desired handbags before they even hit retail.

With an impressive resume that includes Takashi Murakami, the Japanese pop artist, where Jenny Yuen worked on collaborative projects with Marc Jacobs, culminating in the omni-present Louis Vuitton "Eye Love" and "Cherry Blossom", it's no wonder Jenny took on the handbag world with panache. Jenny's BU and Parson's schooling along with the artistic expression pairs her technical construction with unprecedented style.

Ultra-luxe Italian leather, gold-plated hardware, custom gold charm are standards for Jenny. Not surprisingly, she's already on September's Lucky mag.

When Susan Reed, the third wife of Dylan Reed, the popular star of the cult science fiction series SPACE AVENGERS, is found dead in her Spring Lake, New Jersey, swimming pool. Elementary school teacher/amateur sleuth Jamie Hamilton is the only one who suspects foul play. However, the tide soon turns against the aging actor who portrayed the infamous Captain Travis Keating when one of his bitter co-stars, David Montgomery, appears in an interview accusing Dylan Reed of murdering his wife as well as the up and coming actor who was to take over the helm in the new fall NBC Avenger series.

As she delves deeper into the lives of the aging Avenger stars, Jamie discovers more than one skeleton along the way. Will she uncover the truth in time or become another victim?
