Gucci's Handbag Makers Rely on Migrants Risking Lives in Sahara



"Made in Italy." Perhaps. But probe a little deeper and one learns that our world is more globally complex and intertwined than meets the eye. Bloomberg's article reveals that Fendi, Gucci, Tod, etc, handbag production while may be made on Italian soil, they certainly are not made by Italian hands.

And that goes for the Italian garments from Dolce & Gabbana, Armani, Versace, Hugo Boss, Gianfranco Ferre. Sad but so true!
